The property was extensively renovated in two construction phases. The renovation work on the side wing and rear building was completed in 1987, that of the front building in 1994. With the exception of the street façade, which is protected as an ensemble, all existing windows were replaced with wooden insulated windows. The box double windows on the street façade were extensively renovated and some were subsequently retrofitted with hose seals on the inner window sashes. The Sfl. and HH were given bathrooms, some of them internal and all ventilated. The former small living rooms with kitchen and outside toilet were converted into modern living areas, and the entire sanitary and electrical installation, including the risers, were renewed. The Sfl. and HH parts of the building were given gas central heating with hot water preparation in 1987, which was upgraded in 2012 with a new condensing boiler, energy efficiency pumps and hot water storage. In the renovation section of the front building, small apartments were also combined to form maisonettes and thus enlarged. With one exception, all apartments in the front building have bathrooms that can be ventilated through windows. The heating, plumbing and electrical installations have been completely renewed. Hot water and heating are supplied centrally via a gas condensing boiler with a hot water storage tank.
